Trevor McMahan
Trevor began his career at Smuggler as the “third arm” of directing collective HAPPY before going on to collaborate with some of the industry’s leading commercial directors, including Ivan Zacharias, Guy Shelmerdine, and Noam Murro. From there, he developed a wide-ranging body of solo work that moves across genres while maintaining a clear and consistent creative point of view.
His work has been recognized with multiple Cannes Gold Lions, a Young Director Award, and inclusion in MoMA’s permanent collection as an AICP honoree, along with a shelf that is, at this point, officially under strain.
Still, the focus has always remained on the work itself: telling the next story better than the last, with an ongoing commitment to craft, clarity, and collaboration (and occasionally finding space between the paint thinner and the power tools for one more trophy).
