Pamela Romanowsky
Pamela is a Los Angeles–based writer/director originally from the small town of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Drawn to boundary-pushing stories with richly drawn, complex characters, her work balances emotional authenticity with a bold visual style.
Her feature directorial debut, The Adderall Diaries, premiered at the Tribeca Festival and was released by A24. She studied behavioral psychology at Macalester College, vérité documentary filmmaking with Barbara Kopple, and earned an MFA in Film from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Pamela is a motorcyclist, a bit of a pyromaniac, and retains just enough of her pre-med education to talk you down from your latest WebMD diagnosis.
