Dara is a chronic insomniac storyteller from Montreal with an MFA in Film from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is happiest when bringing stories to life, whether they’re destined for the festival circuit or a commercial set.
Her films have screened around the world at festivals including Tribeca, SXSW, Cannes, and Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia. When she’s not writing in New York, she’s directing commercials, happily moving between documentary work and the beauty world with the same curiosity and attention to detail she brings to all of her storytelling.
