Jenn Shaw
Based in New York, Jenn Shaw was raised in the beautiful bluegrass of Lexington, KY. Since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she has established herself as a writer/director with a captivating vision for developing coming-of-age and sports-related stories. Jenn is an alumna of the Fox Network’s Diversity Writers Program. She is an award-winning producer and headed up production at ESPN’s Creative Works before starting her directing career. Her film ‘$15 Kicks’, was executive produced by Spike Lee and got her a selection for Shoot Magazine’s New Director DGA showcase. She has been nominated for an American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Award at Cannes Film Festival. Her spot for Children’s Aid has recently won Gold and Silver Anthem Awards. Most recently she directed ‘Running While Black’ for Adidas and Vice.
