Joaquín Güiraldes

Joaquín is originally from Argentina. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires, he worked across different areas of filmmaking, including agency-side at David as an editor and producer, before moving into directing and editing his own projects. Over time, he developed a hands-on, holistic approach to filmmaking, staying closely involved from early concept through final cut.

His commercial work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, The One Show, and other international awards. Rooted in visual storytelling, it places a strong emphasis on rhythm, structure, and performance. Most recently, his Jellometer campaign for Heinz earned a Bronze Cannes Lion for Sports Live Experience.

Now dividing his time between New York and Buenos Aires, he remains a devoted follower of Argentinian fútbol and is still working on fully decoding the rules of American football, though he would not say no to directing a Super Bowl spot, should the opportunity arise.
